Initiated in 2010 by a Slovene critic, curator and art agent Maja Škerbot, PRIVATE VIEW operates
as a platform for contemporary art projects. Besides representing selected artists, primarily from
Slovenia, but also Berlin and globally-based ones, PRIVATE VIEW produces curatorial international
group exhibitions, often in collaboration with partner institutions and art activists.

Focused on most intriguing phenomena of the contemporary art production in all media and oriented
on the omnipotence of various spatial exhibiting contexts, PRIVATE VIEW projects of both lines are
giving the exhibition paradigm enabling unique perception, contemplation and experience of art –
like PRIVATE VIEW last group exhibition entitled Another Marriage? Between the Abstract and the
Narrative., which by showing art works of nineteen internationally working artists themed relations
constituting contemporary art (system) and have gave the possibility to experience the story about the
attraction, obstacles and tensions.

PRIVATE VIEW projects may be seen in their specific rhythm at their domicile in Berlin-Mitte, and at
other international art spaces. We do live art! Together!
